LT. Dr. R.C. Varma graduated from Nagpur Medical College in the year 1953 having obtained first position in the University in the final M.B.B.S examination and was awarded Gold Medal for the same. Having completed one year’s house job in Medicine and Surgery he proceeded to England for further Medical Training and passed the F.R.C.S. examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London during the year 1957. The same year he returned to India and joined M.G.M. Medical College at Indore, as Lecturer in orthopaedic Surgery. Having served in this capacity for two years he resigned from Govt. service and started Varma Union Hospital PVT LTD at Indore in the year 1959. At that time this was the only fully fledged Surgical Hospital in the city. LT. Dr. Varma & Dr. Mrs Varma worked day in & day out. The Hospital flourished well from day first. LT. Dr. Varma being trained in general surgery & orthopaedic surgery and his wife trained in Anaesthesia made this hospital grew rapidly.

At the beginning this hospital was started in a rented building in the heart of the town and three years later the hospital was shifted to the present premises. Thus the hospital today is one of the pioneering Institutes of the city with a reputation spread all over the state fetching patients from far and wide areas.

Our greatest achievement in not that the hospital has treated thousands of patients but that it still retains shining reputation as a centre of excellence with ethical humanitarian medical practice.

Varma Union Hospital PVT LTD specializes in trauma care this part of orthopaedic is a strong footage of our organization. The hospital is well equipped with trauma care 24 hours a day. On an average about 150 trauma patients are getting the treatment in the hospital per month. Hospital is dealing with different kinds of poly trauma where multi organs are involved.

The Hospital has a very good team of Doctors, paramedics, ICU doctors to take care of the trauma patients. We in the hospital have a special technique for long bone fractures fixacation. Long bones like femur, tibia, humerus, radius ulna are treated with Key hole Interlocking nailing. Key Hole Interlocking Nailing is a technique where long nails are inserted the bone marrow without opening the fracture site. The operations are finished just in three stitches. One stitch for the insertion of nail second for proximal locking & third for distal locking. In this technique no incession is given at the fracture site which helps in the healing of the bone much faster & without a permanent scar on the body. The special techniques which we have are Interlocking Femur, Tibia, Humerus, Closed rush nailing for radius ulna, Gamma Nailing, Recon Nailing, Supra-condilar nailing, Liss platting. Special Techniques for the joint fractures we have Cobra platting, T platting for Barton’s Reverse Richards for supracondilar femur, hockey platting for tibial condyl, Liss platting etc.

Studio B at Voicer consists of two floating rooms that cater to live tracking, production and writing teams, and is also perfect for sessions that require more of a lounge-type control room.

The two rooms are also swappable, which makes this suite even more flexible. Need a bigger control room to fit your entourage, or need a bigger tracking room for drums, piano, vocals and guitar? Not a problem in Studio B!

The newest addition to Voicer’s facilities, our Studio C is a production room perfect for writing sessions, video editing, and vocal tracking. Based on Avid’s latest HD Native Thunderbolt system, Studio C provides a comfortable and eclectic vibe, with private access and a small tracking room.

Tannoy System 215 DMT II mains, a multitude of new and vintage outboard gear, as well as a 110″ retractable projection screen, 7.1 surround sound, and full HDMI routing capabilities, Studio A is suitable for any session.

Varma Union Hospital PVT LTD was established during
the year 1959 & is situated in the western part of Indore city since last 61 years.

He resigned from Govt. service and started Varma Union Hospital PVT LTD at Indore in the year 1959.

Ten years of recording, producing, mixing and mastering

Construction of a sister studio, on the Voicer Recording Studio, began in the mid 1990’s attracting major artists from around the globe. Sadly, Hurricane Hugo devastated the island in 1989, and the studio was forced to close.
